Mr. Cardenas is the driving force behind our company. As of 2007, Juan has 23 years of experience in the construction business. Juan was introduced to the business at the age of 19 when he took a job with responsibilities including interpreter, cement mixer, dry wall installation, roofing, insulation, framing, stucco application, flat work (sidewalk construction etc.) with Dr. Richard K. Allen in Los Angeles. Mr. Cardenas was relocated to West Jordan, UT as a foreman of a project to build 13 subdivisions for Kaufman & Broad and Ryland Homes. Two years after arriving in Utah, Juan obtained his general contractor’s license and started a framing company which evolved into a general contracting company called South Mountain Builders.
